Result, Examination & Certification Guidelines
NIED Council maintains a transparent, robust, and industry-accepted examination and certification structure. From offline and online assessments to secure digital verification and re-certification support, every step is streamlined for student success across India.
Online Result & Declaration Process
After the successful conduct of Offline or Online Examinations within the limited period decided by NIED COUNCIL Head Office, the OMR Answer sheets, Answer Copies, or Online Examination Reports are submitted to the Head Office by the respective ASTC Authority.
Processing Timeline
Results are officially declared on the NIED Council website within 30 to 45 days of data submission.
Validity
All certificates, diplomas, and mark sheets awarded are recognized and valid all over India.
Certificate & Marksheet Features
Certificate / Diploma and Mark sheets are awarded by NIED COUNCIL after the successful completion of the course and passing the examinations. To prevent forgery and ensure security, each credential includes multiple verification layers:
Contains unique Ref. No. and Registration Number.
Student Name, Father's Name, and specific course modules.
Authorized Study and Training Centre name where training was completed.
Signature of Managing Director - NIED COUNCIL with issue date.
Secure hologram and instant QR code for online validation.
Detailed performance report breakdown module-wise.
Duplicate / Re-Certification Facility
NIED provides a re-certification facility for students who have lost their original certificates, mark-sheets, or diplomas.
Application Procedure
Candidates can apply online through their respective NIED COUNCIL Authorized Study and Training Centre (ASTC) along with a DD or Online Payment Receipt.
Fee & Dispatch Time
Rs. 200/- Per Certificate OR Mark-Sheet. Issued to ASTC within 7 working days after receiving the complete student exam and payment details.

1. Online Portal
Visit the student zone menu on the official website, enter your enrollment number, and select the examination to verify credentials instantly.
2. QR Code Scanning
Scan the unique QR code printed on the bottom left side of every certificate using a smartphone for instant digital validation.
3. Physical / Postal
Send a verification application letter via post without any verification fees directly to our official correspondence address listed on the website.

On-Demand Examination System (ODES) & Comprehensive Rules
NEXTGEN INDIA EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL has been working on the concept of On-Demand Examination (ODE) across all offered courses to bring flexibility into Virtual, Online, Open, and Distance learning, coupled with strict evaluation and verification protocols.
The change of subject / additional subject applied for January, April, July, and October Public Exam will be reflected in NIED COUNCIL after the respective public exam. Similarly, applications for ODES will be reflected after the April Public Exam. There will be no On-Demand Examination during any other month. Concept & Scope
The basic concept of On Demand Examination is that a NIED COUNCIL student can walk into the examination center as and when he/she feels ready. At present, ODES is conducted at NIED COUNCIL HQ at Jaipur and at approved Online Exam Centres for Certificate and Diploma courses.
Medium of Question Paper
The Question Paper will be in English and Hindi Medium Only. However, regional medium candidates wishing to appear through ODES have the choice of answering in their respective regional medium (note: separate regional medium question papers will not be provided).
Evaluation Methodology & Passing Criteria
After qualifying all the exams, the students are awarded grades as per their percentage of marks obtained for all Programs. Each module consists of 70% of theory/ written Paper/ OMR optional Paper/ Online Exam as final exam and 30% of Practical/ Viva.
Student must pass in Theory and Practical separately, obtaining a minimum of 40% marks in each paper/subject.
Candidates may be awarded grace marks, however, these marks will not be added to his/her Grand Total.
Mark Sheet Remarks Code Reference:
Scrutiny, Re-Totaling & Re-Evaluation Rules
Any candidate who has appeared at an examination conducted by the Institution may apply to the Controller of Examination for scrutiny through their Authorized Study and Training Centre (ASTC) for re-totaling/re-checking of marks within 30 days of the mark sheet issuance.
Fee Structure: Re-totaling application must be accompanied by a fee of Rs. 200/- Per Subject/Per Paper. The fee once deposited is non-refundable. Retotaling/Revaluation will be allowed only for the first attempt at theory examination as per institution provisions.
Scope of Scrutiny: The work of scrutiny does not include re-examination of answer books. It consists strictly of rechecking totals and ensuring no assigned question marks were omitted. Answer books or evaluation scripts will in no case be shown to the candidate or their representative. The decision of the Registrar/Controller of Examination shall be final.
Re-Examination Guidelines
Students failing to clear all modules in one sitting can re-appear in the failed module by paying a re-examination fee of Rs. 200/- per subject/module. Re-exam must be completed within the stipulated diploma duration; failure to do so requires going through complete re-registration.
Duplicate / Re-Certification Facility
For lost certificates, mark-sheets, or diplomas, candidates can apply online through their ASTC with a DD/Online payment receipt of Rs. 500/- Per Certificate or Mark-Sheet. Issued from Head Office to ASTC within 7 working days.
Important Disclaimers & Jurisdiction
The certificate is issued as proof of qualification based on institute examinations. The institute does not claim or promise direct eligibility for government/private sector jobs, nor guarantees registration in any external organization or department. Acceptance by any selection committee is final and universally accepted without liability on NIED Council.
Students must report discrepancies in results/marks to their ASTC within one month of result declaration. Council records shall always be final in case of any discrepancy.

Items Allowed Inside
- Approved stationery (blue/black ballpoint pens, pencils) in a transparent pouch. Sharing/borrowing is strictly prohibited.
- A proper face mask (worn correctly at all times), pocket-sized hand sanitizer, and a transparent water bottle.
Prohibited Items (Zero-Tolerance)
- Mobiles, smartwatches, programmable calculators, or electronic/communication devices.
- Wallets, personal watches, books, charts, tables, sheets, or personal papers. Unauthorized items lead to instant debarment.
Timeline, Seating & Hall Conduct
"Unfair conduct" refers to any form of fraud or improper behavior committed before, during, or after the examination. Violations will attract strict legal action under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 and Sections 415, 417, or 420 of IPC/BNS, resulting in immediate cancellation of performance, penalties, and campus debarment.

Re-Examination & Qualification Norms
Students must secure at least 40% marks in each subject to qualify. Candidates who do not clear all modules in one sitting can re-appear in the failed module by submitting a Re-Examination form along with a fee of Rs. 100/- per module/subject.
Students failing the final semester exam or remaining absent can appear for re-examination within the diploma duration by paying a fee of Rs. 200/- per subject. Failure to appear within the specified timeframe requires complete re-registration and re-admission.
